Lady Rose Vintage Jewels
Elegant Art Deco Chrysoprase & Marcasite Navette Ring Antique Chrysoprase Sterling Ring Unique Green Chalcedony Ring Size 6!
This is a stunning Art Deco chrysoprase and marcasite ring in the navette style so popular of the era! Chrysoprase is the rarest and one of the most valuable chalcedony gemstones! It was a very popular choice for use in sterling silver jewelry during the Art Deco period as we see by this fabulous vintage find! You have the gorgeous velvety green elongated bezel set cabochon chrysoprase that measures 1" x 7/16" completely surrounded by securely set glittering marcasites all in sterling silver that adds even more length to the setting to become an amazing 1 3/8" x 3/4" artistic design! The inside shank is hallmarked 925 and measures 3mm and is sizable. There is an 8mm rise off the finger and you can see the beautiful open cut design of the under galley. The gemstone has a lovely translucent quality to it and also is magnetic reactive when tested. This is the type of ring I envision all the grand ladies of the Edwardian era wearing as they entertained their friends in their homes and I can see women of today's age doing the same! Truly a magnificent piece that is a timeless design that can be enjoyed for years to come!
